Back in the good old days, when George Bush could still call Putin "Vladimir" because they were such good friends, Bushie called his counterpart in the Kremlin just to chat a bit on a fine afternoon.
"Hey Vladimir! Bushie here. Hey you know what? Hey we got a new super-computer here! It can calculate anything! You wanna know much a gallon of gas will cost in Moscow in fifty years? I can see it here, on our new super-computer. A gallon of gas will cost, in Moscow, in fifty years, one hundred thousand rubles!"
"Thank you for that exciting information, Bushie!"
A while later, George Bush himself got a call.
"Hey Bushie! It's Volodya - VLADIMIR! Yes, in the Kremlin. No I am not watching American Idol. I'm calling to tell you that I've just found out that here in Russia we also have a new super-computer and it too can calculate anything. You wanna know how much is costing this one gallon gasoline unleaded in Washington DC in fifty years? Our new super-computer says it also is costing one hundred thousand rubles!"
"Bushie? Bushie?"
Biden Announces Ambitious Goal Of $100 Per Gallon Gas By End Of First 100 Days In Office
WASHINGTON, DC — In spite of Democrats' best efforts to curb the use of fossil fuels, stubborn Americans continue to use them to power their automobiles and heat their homes. Biden is responding to this crisis with an ambitious new plan to raise the price of gas to $100 per gallon by the end of his first 100 days in office.
The administration has announced the "Gas Prices To The Mooooon" campaign - a series of executive orders designed to drive the price of fuel up to make it unattainable to anyone except John Kerry.
When confronted with the question of how Americans will afford to get around with $100-per-gallon gas, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested they stay home and eat some ice cream instead.
$10 a Gallon?
It all comes down to the gas tank. It always will. That's what people understand. Historians insist - it's too long ago for any of us to remember of course - that there once was a time when people could get around without automobiles. When everything you needed was within walking distance.
Perhaps the prophetic words of Barack Obama regarding Joe Biden's uncanny abilities may become a planetary earworm. What many suspect was a scheme to win back voters before November seems to have backfired superlatively.
Howl at the Moon
"The 'west' failed to understand Russia's need to act. It failed to make the necessary commitments, and accept Russia's reasonable demands, to avoid the struggle. In consequence it will now fall apart. The knee-jerk reaction to Russia's 'special military operation' in Ukraine will, as Alastair Crooke writes, lead to the end of the 'liberal order'."
"Europe is in hysteria. This will not fade quickly. The new 'Iron Curtain' erected in Brussels may last years."
Now reality comes back to bite the inept minions who attempt to rule over us, writes MoA.

Europe cannot sustain this. But Russia can.
"In sum, the changes set out by von der Leyen and the EU, with surging crude oil costs, could potentially tip global markets into crisis, and set off spiraling inflation. Cost inflation created by energy costs spiraling higher and food disruptions are not so easily susceptible to monetary remedies. If the daily drama of the war in Ukraine starts to fade from public view, and inflation persists, the political cost of von der Leyen's Saturday drama is likely to be European-wide recession."
Fraulein Zensursula strikes again.
And it is not only Europe, writes MoA. “Energy prices are based on global markets. As are the prices for many other minerals and metals which have suddenly become rare.”
"The US will be hit just as much as Europe. Early today oil prices in Europe hit $139 per barrel, well above last week's market close. They will increase further. Gasoline prices in the US will soon hit $6-7-8 per gallon."
The attempt by the US to rush towards a new Iran deal to get Iranian oil flooding the markets has failed. Russia, together with Iran, has successfully blocked that move.

But that would require easing off on their sanctions and returning all confiscated companies and the country's gold. That's going to happen?
A short laundry list - no worries, Putin's seen it.
High-end German autos are built with aluminium from Russia.
To build airplanes, Boeing needs titanium from Russia.
Lots of companies are going to have to start laying off lots of people.
(They really love Nazis that much, those Deep-Staters? Why did their forefathers fight WW2 anyway?) (World War II. Not familiar? They can look it up on their super-computer.)
"All this while food, heating and mobility costs will increase dramatically."
"A deep recession combined with strong inflation will rip social cohesion apart. I do expect strong anger in the streets of Europe and the US. There will be riots and in consequence a strong political move to the right. The mid-term elections will destroy the russophobic Democrats."
Ouch. Ouch. Michael Hudson:
"So I am somewhat chagrined as I watch the speed at which this US-centered financialized system has de-dollarized over the span of just a year or two. The basic theme of my Super Imperialism has been how, for the past fifty years, the US Treasury bill standard has channeled foreign savings to US financial markets and banks, giving dollar diplomacy a free ride. I thought that de-dollarization would be led by China and Russia moving to take control of their economies to avoid the kind of financial polarization that is imposing austerity on the United States. But US officials are forcing them to overcome whatever hesitancy they had..."
So the world will soon say goodbye to the US dollar system. (The petrodollar is essentially a house of cards anyway.)
"Nobody thought that the postwar 1945-2020 world order would give way this fast... It no longer is just about Ukraine. That is merely the trigger, a catalyst for driving much of the world away from the US/NATO orbit."
"Too bad that I don't speak Russian", writes MoA. "It is now the place to be."
"Russia has already been cut off from CNN, Pornhub, and Facebook. The US is now working on depriving Russians of McDonald's and Coca-Cola. If they keep going with these sanctions, Russians will soon be among the healthiest, well adjusted, and best informed people on the planet." - Jimmy Salford
