'Artemovsk, a city named after Comrade Artem. In the 18th century it became the centre of Slavo-Serbia because it was inhabited by thousands of people from the Balkans, Serbs. About 10% of Jews live there. After the war in Donbass, wanting to erase the culture and history of the city, in 2015 the Ukrainians changed its name to Bakhmut, and monuments and street names disappeared overnight. And although the city has been violently losing its ethnic composition in recent years, 62% of the inhabitants speak Russian and 35% Ukrainian. As of today, there are no more Ukrainian soldiers, no NATO soldiers, and it is again, as it has been for almost its entire history, the city of Artemovsk.'
Artemovsk, known for a short time as Bakhmut, has fallen. The announcement came at 15:54 local time today.
Let's lead off with Alex Christoforou's update from Cyprus.

'Thanks for your update Alex. I am glad Russia liberated their people. If Zelinsky had abided by the Minsk agreements this conflict would never have happened.'

Storm Shadow?
In somewhat related news, it seems the Russians have already figured out how to deal with the UK's latest peace gesture. And of course they have to be launched by air and Ze doesn't really have any air force any longer.
Pundits
Even Gateway Pundit picked it up. There seems to be a new Esperanto coming about here.
