The big joke all over Moscow and Russia today, according to Scott Ritter who just returned, is the recurring meme 'Thank You Joe Biden!' ('Спасибо Джо Байден!'). For, according to Scott and others, Russia's never had it so good, at any time in their 1000-year history. A lot of this was inevitable, but good old Джо Байден, whom Barack Obama warned had an uncanny ability to fuck things up, seems to have sped it all along in a way few could have imagined.
But let's start from mid-afternoon today, work forward, and end with a report from the morning.
In the Litter Box

Special guest today: Scott Presler who both Jewels and Catturd hold in high regard. Now that the latest in Kari Lake's case against Maricopa corruption has taken yet another turn, it becomes more incumbent than ever to see that election procedures are cleaned up.
Scott's been doing the work that should have been done by Ronna. He now has a game plan. He's also established a website. Pop over and see if you can help.
Scott comes in at the 30-minute mark and stays on for about 40 minutes.
Redacted
Clayton and Natali's almost daily show. They say they're approaching 2,000,000 newsletter subscribers.
The first part is an interview with Scott Ritter who just returned from Russia. Clayton and Scott take pains to point out the obvious. Most of this is known by readers of this Substack, but the truth is spreading, and there are nuggets here that outsiders such as ourselves could not have been aware of.
It's curious to see Clayton bite his nails during the first part of this segment.
After this, things segue into an overly drawn-out section on free speech and Oxford. We're going to skip this, bringing us to the 01:29:00 mark.
Next up is The Grayzone. One of their star reporters was detained on a visit back to the UK, reminding us all that, although it seems to be the US causing all the misery in Europe, it's to a great extent the UK prodding them on.
Here's Max Blumenthal's report on the incident. It's almost necessary to point out how meticulously this piece is written, for our experience of The Grayzone is that they're meticulous.

Greets from Cyprus
Finally, we have Alex Christoforou's electronic postcard from Cyprus this morning. It must be said that the colours in this transmission are crisp and brilliant, and the insights Alex provides are, as always, invaluable.
Following are screenshots from the above podcast.
It's all over but for the fighting, said Scott Ritter. The purpose of Lindsey Graham's abortive visit to his Ukrainian house of worship was to pressure Zelensky to get a move on. Yet Ze just lost 75,000 troops pushing for a silly battle in Bakhmut, with twice that many injured and out of commission, and all he has for his famed counter-offensive is 60,000, and they'll simply be put in the meat grinder.
Many outside Russia were alarmed at news of the drone strikes on Moscow. Putin said that the defence was OK but could be better. It took Scott Ritter, who just returned and was able to take the temp of the people, to tell us that the Russian people are actually fired up, understand that they're at war with NATO and the US, and are not going to give up, dammit. They have history on their side for once. History's left the US behind on the compost.
Watch your tails, cowboys.
