WASHINGTON, D.C. - Some of America’s most prominent antiwar activists, journalists, veterans, and retired military officials will join thousands of Americans on Sunday, February 19, to protest the start of WW3 and the US/NATO-led war against nuclear superpower Russia. The event, named Rage Against the War Machine, will include a rally at the Lincoln Memorial and culminate with a march to the White House.
Then On Tuesday
Then on Tuesday, February 21, Americans of all stripes are planning direct-action sit-ins in the offices of members of Congress.
The organizing is spearheaded by the Libertarian Party and People’s Party, which have united an ideologically diverse coalition of more than a dozen organizations.
Demands
The coalition has a series of demands that include:
Not one more penny for war in Ukraine
Negotiate peace
Stop the war inflation
Disband NATO
Global nuclear de-escalation
Slash the Pentagon budget
Abolish the CIA and military-industrial deep state
Abolish war and empire
Restore Civil Liberties
Free Julian Assange
