It's best to start tonight with two videos. The first is of MMA featherweight Bryce Mitchell. This was picked up by Max Blumenthal and also uploaded to YouTube and Instagram. The Instagram upload got about 75 thousand views. It summarises the attitude of many regarding the war in the air.
The second video is of Andrei Martyanov, featured just the other day. This is a new release. Try as we may, we can just about catch up on things, start to assemble material for an update, and more things come along. This is about the war on the ground.
If you want to stop right there and read no further, that's pretty much OK. Those two clips together pretty much cover the current situation with both wars. For those who want to read on, however, here we go.
RISEUP VPN
Yes, this VPN is pretty good, is easy to install, and pretty much works as advertised. And it's free.
For those cases when it doesn't, we've been using PrivadoVPN. YMMV. There's a monthly cap on bandwidth for PrivadoVPN. RISEUP's has no cap.
Where is Zelensky?
Where is Zelensky? He looked pretty drunken the other night. Supposedly Navy SEALS and SAS commandos are on standby to get him out.
Ukrainian-US Bioweapons Lab?
Yes, this is a shocker. Evidently Kiev tried to hide the evidence, as seen in documents dated 24 February (but now seized by the other side). One document has been released, the others are being studied.
George Galloway immediately drew a parallel to 2003 and the US invasion of Iraq where the whole mess was predicated on Saddam having WMDs, something every intelligent individual knew was nonsense, particularly as Blix and his Egyptian counterpart kept returning to the UNSC and reporting (insisting) that no such thing was possible.
And perhaps you've seen the movie Fair Game with Naomi Watts and Sean Penn? It tells the true story of how Valerie Plame's husband, Joseph Wilson RIP, was sent on a wild goose mission to Africa to find proof of an Iraqi weapons project which of course didn't exist.
And now it's going to turn out that the United States was researching pathogens like the plague itself right on the Ukraine's Russian border? That's not going to go down well at all.
Here's one link at Sputnik.
Here's another at RT.

We'll see how long it takes for someone in the West to dare take it up.
The Mess That Nuland Made
This is a reprint from 2015 of a piece by the legendary Robert Parry.
https://consortiumnews.com/2022/02/26/robert-parry-the-mess-that-nuland-made/
The first accompanying photo is priceless. That's the Azov Battalion, with their own flag, but flanked by the NATO flag on the left and the swastika Nazi flag on the right.
The second accompanying photo is not of lesser value.
That's Geoff Pyatt, ambassador to Ukraine, with Victoria Nuland, the chief coup architect, in Kiev.
(According to Tucker Carlson, Nuland and her husband were the ones who organised the 2003 Iraq invasion for Dubya. That one turned out good too.)
Finally, Robert embedded the infamous conversation between Pyatt and Nuland, the one with the notorious "fuck the EU" by Nuland. And how the MSM in the US tried to spin it so people focused on her remark rather than the actual content of the conversation.
But things went well? The uploader, "Diddley Squat", has this to say.
"What's really important here is the level of planning for the coup that overthrew the elected President Viktor Yanukovych, which brought to power (as heard on the recording) a group of select individuals described as "moderate democrats". In fact, most of them, including Oleh Tyahnybok (whom Nuland insists the new head of state consult four times weekly), are a far-right nationalist faction with overt and long-standing ties to the neo-Nazi movement. Meet the characters in the story that led to what's called ‘the worst crisis since the old cold war’ and which Russia experts at American universities describe as a new cold war more dangerous than the first."
Some of the comments are precious.
A Tree in Khreshchatyk
Grayzone founder Max Blumenthal and colleague Alexander Rubinstein delved into the fact that Zelensky, who is Jewish, rises to the top in the power hierarchy in an aggressively anti-Semitic state. This has been used effectively by the MSM in the West to dismiss the fact that Kiev could somehow be Nazi. But that's precisely what they are.
https://thegrayzone.com/2022/03/04/nazis-ukrainian-war-russia/
The Grayzone piece is picked up immediately by MoA.
What is Khreshchatyk anyway? It's the main street in Kiev. Closed for traffic at the weekends. Something like this.
Zelensky - "Ze” - had a confrontation with the Nazis. It was caught on camera - the clip is embedded in the Grayzone piece linked above. He told them:
"I'm the president of this country. I'm 41 years old. I'm not a loser. I came to you and told you: remove the weapons."
It didn't work. A further report is found here.
MoA agrees with Grayzone's assessment save for one detail.
"That is all correct. But let me point out that death threats from the fascists to Zelensky were already made much earlier.
"On May 27 2019, a week after Zelensky's inauguration as president, the Ukrainian internet news site Obozrevatel published a long interview with Dmytro Anatoliyovych Yarosh, a co-founder of the Right Sector who was then the commander of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army. Yarosh and others like him have had little support when they tried to get elected to parliament but they, as demonstrated during Maidan, have the guns and the will to use them.”
Quoting Yarosh:
"Zelensky said in his inaugural speech that he was ready to lose ratings, popularity, position... No, he would lose his life. He will hang on some tree on Khreshchatyk - if he betrays Ukraine and those people who died in the Revolution and the War."
So things started to change - inevitably, as some might say.
"In spring 2021 Zelensky announced that the Ukraine would retake Crimea by force. Russia then held large military maneuvers and Zelensky backed down. By November 2021 the Ukraine again made noise and said it would be retaking Donbass by force. Russia again held military maneuvers as a show of force but this time the situation deteriorated further."
More from MoA.
"Russia understood Zelensky's remark in Munich as a threat by Ukraine to acquire nuclear weapons. It already has the expertise, materials and means to do that."
As Grayzone noted:
"On November 2021, one of Ukraine's most prominent ultra-nationalist militiamen, Dmytro Yarosh, announced that he had been appointed as an advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Yarosh is an avowed follower of the Nazi collaborator Bandera who led Right Sector from 2013 to 2015, vowing to lead the 'de-Russification' of Ukraine."
So it all comes down to what Patrick Armstrong pointed out the other day.
"What [Putin] is talking about is what the Soviet Union tried to do from 1933 onwards: namely to stop Hitler before he got started. This time Russia is able to do it by itself. In other words, Putin feels that he is making a pre-emptive attack to stop June 1941. This is very serious indeed and indicates that the Russians are going to keep going until they feel that they can safely stop."
The one thing no one seems to be factoring in is the influence of the good old US of A where elections are coming up in a few months, so-called mid-term elections, where the Democrats are in for a trouncing. They haven't really been doing too well, to put it mildly. But if they can beat the war drums and get a gullible populace to rally round their leader, no matter who that leader is...
That's enough for now. We'll leave the recent reports from the Saker until later.
