Many of you by now will have learned that the 118th US Congress is now in session. As the poor things have worked so hard for so long, they've decided they won't have to return to work until 5 PM on Monday.
(Some may not bother returning even then, but you understand.)
Comrade Zelensky was quick on the mark to congratulate new Speaker McCarthy on his victory. Further phone calls asking for more contributions can be expected.
Meanwhile, the venerable Scott Ritter turned up at a church gathering somewhere in Boston to preach the gospel of no-bullshit-just-truth to an amazingly receptive audience. And his recounting of recent Ukraine history showed us all an impressive grasp of fact.
Perhaps we're pretentious, but we regard this clip, even though it will go largely unnoticed by the sheeple majority, as hugely significant. Why? Because it shows that people are not necessarily irretrievably brainwashed, and because it shows that, if you can tell the truth in a way that reaches people, you can get through.
Scott really reaches his audience.
In related news - again having to do with Vlad Ze's Comedy Tour - Doug Macgregor again guested Judge Napolitano to give us the latest Nazi War 2.0 update. It seems the ground neath the feet in that part of the globe has finally frozen solid. And should the temps be stable there, then the famed/feared Russian move can finally commence.

The shorthand takeaway is of course that the INGSOC penetration by the acronym agencies is pervasive and brutal.
Newspapers of Record?
The comments at Wikipedia contain this remarkable statement.
"Due to the unusual nature of the release and presentation of the Twitter Files, I see a need for an official consensus statement from our editors, akin to what one often sees from the editors at a newspaper of record like The New York Times and The Washington Post."
The US Congress has a new speaker. Widely regarded as a RINO who supports questionable causes, he's nevertheless sworn in and at least has given lip service to resolving many pressing issues.
The ground is freezing in the Ukraine at last. (See our subtle hint in the earlier piece "Autumn Leaves".)
And for an easy come, easy go USD 44 billion, Elon Musk has been able to pull the curtains back to reveal what's really been going on at a social media company.
Do continue to enjoy the New Year!
